Still Life With Louis Vuitton
I just got an urgent text message from one of my models, Lance Navarro. When he was here for a shoot one time, I teased him about his Louis Vuitton bag. I teased him about using a Louis Vuitton bag to carry his leather sex toys and he told me the crazy story of how it was bought for him by a sugar daddy. I loved the juxtaposition of an elegant ladies bag filled with butch leather gear so much we set it up as a still life photo composition. Lance texted me today that the bag has been stolen and he needed a photo of it to prove ownership, so here it is.
If I were a famous artist, curators and critics would write entire textbooks about this photo, but here it is for you to enjoy. If I were a famous artist, I would just buy Lance a new Louis Vuitton bag as a replacement, but if you buy enough memberships to my website…. oh, never mind. That’s a lot to ask.
The shot above was from the day we shot the Louis Vuitton bag and Lance brought his young blond protege’, Derek Bronson, for his porn debut. The story goes, Lance no longer wanted to be typecast as a bottom, so he brought a blond twink to prove he could be a big daddy top. Dirty Film Stars
I have an ongoing series of photos of porn stars posing with reels of 16mm film. I’m not even sure what is on the film, but they look about 50 years old. It’s probably some educational film about protons and neutrons or “The Wonder of Locomotives!”. Yawn. They were probably stored in some utility closet at a public school for most of that time just collecting dust, so every time you touch the film, your hands feel dirty. That why I titled this picture of Nick Moretti and Blake Daniels, “Dirty Film Stars”.
Oh, and you should have seen the filthy, dirty, nasty, disgusting things they did to each other earlier that day! Well, in fact, you CAN see all the dirty stuff they put on film by joining Lavender Lounge! (Not technically on film, it was on digital SD cards, but you know what I mean…)

Two Models Nominated for Xbiz Award
Two of my models, Spencer Reed and Dominic Pacifico, were nominated for in the category of Gay Performer of The Year at the Xbiz Awards. The Xbiz Awards will happen in January in Los Angeles.
I’ve been nominated for an Xbiz Award only once, and it was for Gay Studio of The Year in 2008. Though I can’t take credit for Spencer Reed’s or Dominic Pacifico’s nomination for the work they did for me, I can at least acknowledge that I hire some of the best models in the business for Lavender Lounge.
